Why have chinchilla supplies delivered to you?
Having supplies delivered directly to you is a good way to save money. Many of the supplies that we sell are at a much lower price than what you would be charged at a petstore or with having the supplies shipped to you. Much of the time the delivery of supplies is FREE or only has a very small delivery fee of $3 to $4. This gives you the opportunity to purchase food and hay that is extremely fresh and at a lower cost while supporting chinchilla rescue efforts here in Arizona. I strive to provide convenient service and a good value to you with excellent customer service. It can be difficult to find fresh, high quality chinchilla food and supplies and I am here to help make it easy!
I make a delivery trip to the Phoenix metro area (including Scottsdale, Chandler, Gilbert, Glendale, Peoria, Anthem, Phoenix, areas of the east and west Valley) on the first Saturday (or Sundays, occasionally) of each month. This means that I deliver supplies, cages and chinchillas directly to customers. You must contact me to be put on the delivery schedule. I can deliver things to Casa Grande and other places between Tucson and Phoenix on delivery days. Delivery as far north as Prescott may be available on a delivery trip.
Ordering: Either email me at chinnies@azchins.com to place an order or go to http://chinstore.azchins.com/ to use the online paypal shopping cart to select what you would like to order and pay online. You are also welcome to call with orders.
Deadline: The deadline for placing an order is 6 pm on the Thursday evening before each trip. This is necessary because I need time to get a schedule together and get orders packed up and ready to go. Last minute orders may incur an extra fee of up to $5 if I can fit them into the delivery schedule.
Delivery Day: I can leave supplies outside by your door or in another place if you will not be home for the delivery. It is preferred that the orders be paid for at the time of delivery or prepaid using paypal. At times I may need to charge a small delivery fee to pay for fuel.
Delivery Fees: When delivering chinchillas there will be a fee of $10 to $20 to pay for fuel and delivery. (I spend about an hour with customers that are having a chinchilla delivered to them.) Supply deliveries may have a delivery fee depending on the cost of fuel, how far I must travel out of the way to get to each stop and possibly if an order is placed late. Supply delivery fees normally range between $3 and $5, but I do my best to make sure that I don't have to charge for them if at all possible.
Scheduling: When I make up a schedule for the trip I will email with the expected time that I will arrive, generally I will say I will arrive within a given half hour space. Sometimes things do not go as planned due to traffic and other delays so I may be late. We will need to figure out what time would be best for you if having chins delivered.
What if you need supplies right away?
I can send out supplies using the FedEx ground or USPS. Generally orders sent out will arrive the very next business day. Shipping fees within Arizona are fairly inexpensive. Sending out a few pounds of food is usually around $5 to $6. Email me and let me know what you need and I will get it sent out right away.
The more demand for delivery could mean that I make more trips up to Phoenix. More orders means more trips so you won't have to wait as long between them! I will also be able to lower prices and keep delivery fees as low as possible.
