Date of Death:  2-27-2006

Cause of Death:  The cause is ultimately unknown.  However, it looks like it was probably a liver problem.   Something completely uncontrollable and, most likely, non-genetic.  He was in decline for several weeks before he died.  Actually, he hung on longer than anyone could have ever expected to see his little babies born and grow up. 

I will really miss this chinchilla.  He was just such a sweet little guy.  So gentle and kind.  I loved him very much.   A very beautiful chinchilla with a wonderful little spirit and personality.  I can see that same little spark in his little ones.
