Cause of Death:  Jedidiah was a very sweet little chinchilla so it was very difficult to see him pass away.  He got into a fight with a cage mate that he was in with for nearly 6 months.  There really was no damage done to him, he was just very shaken by the whole thing.  Being prey animals, chinchillas are very sensitive to stress - they can be overstressed very easily.  Jedidiah just couldn't take what had happened.  He became lethargic and just let himself pass on.  This type of thing is not uncommon, just part of having chinchillas.  Their personalities sometimes clash and someone gets hurt.
