Cause of Death:

I found Felicia had passed away in her cage one saturday morning.   I felt bad about her being gone because she was a pretty sweet girl.  From what we could tell she had passed away in her sleep.  She was an older chinchilla, from what I could tell she could have been older than 12 years.  The way that she was slowing down in having babies as the ranch records indicated I got this impression.   It's sad, but I know she had a happy life.  We are positive that she really did die from old age....which is probably the best way for a chin to go. 

I miss you Felicia!  I hope that you enjoyed your time with us.  :)
