Quincy
Male - Standard Grey Violet Carrier

Quincy - Standard Grey Violet Carrier Name:  Quincy (AZC - MO73)
Sex:   Male
Color:   Standard Grey Violet Carrier

Date of Birth:   9-25-2004
Birth Weight:  57 grams

Mother:  Rosa
Father:  Jimmy

Date Died:  11-17-2004

Cause of Death:

We really don't know what happened to Quincy.  It is possible that he died from bloat or something like that.  With young chins it is so hard to tell and they can die from just about anything.  They are much more susceptible to disease and sometimes they die from no discernible cause.  The fact that he was a violet carrier made it even worse, mutation babies seem to be a little less hardy than standards or even the more established mutations like black velvets.  He was fine in the morning and later on in the day passed away.  His sister is perfectly normal and healthy.  It's really awful that this can happen so quickly and there is nothing that can be done.  Quincy was a real sweetheart and I wish that he had been able to grow up.

Good bye, Quincy!  I am so happy that I got to know you and so sad that you couldn't be with us longer.  :)
