Name: Jolene
(AZC - F523) Sex: Female Color: Heterozygous Ebony Date of Birth: 3-3-2005 Date of Death: 4-7-2007 Cause of Death: Jolene died after something (a spliter, piece of hay, etc - we don't know) was caught in a back molar. It made it difficult for her to eat and her teeth just didn't grind down how they should have. She very possibly had an infection. Losing her was HARD. I should have caught the problem earlier, maybe I could have brought her back from being so ill. She had just turned two years old and I was going to put her into breeding. She was gorgeous. I didn't take a picture of her as an adult or you would be saying right now, "Jolene was absolutely breathtaking!" She died when I was out of town and you wouldn't believe how guilty I feel! All my chins are so special to me. When one is sick or dies, it hurts so very much. (I get so attached to my babies!) Jolene, I miss you little girl. Thank you for letting me get to know you. I wish so much that I had caught your tooth problem much, much earlier. |
